These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Inuvik Tech Society website, user accounts, courses, events, memberships, newsletters, online services, and related features.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use services that require acceptance of these terms.
Inuvik Tech Society is an organization based in the Northwest Territories, Canada. References to “Inuvik Tech Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the organization operating this website and its related services.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not normally receive or store complete payment card numbers. Payment providers process payment information under their own legal and privacy terms.
We may cancel or reschedule a course or event when reasonably necessary. When applicable, affected participants will be informed of available alternatives, credits, or refunds.
We may send service-related messages necessary to administer your account or transactions. These may include account notices, password resets, registration confirmations, payment receipts, security notices, event updates, and changes to services you requested.
Service-related communications are different from optional marketing or newsletter communications.
You will receive our electronic newsletter or promotional messages only where we have an appropriate basis to send them, including when you separately opt in or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Deactivation may prevent access without immediately deleting all associated records. Certain information may remain where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, financial recordkeeping, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these terms.
Where no continuing retention requirement applies, personal information associated with a closed account will be securely deleted or anonymized according to our retention procedures.
